The Story Behind the Practice

Some of the most powerful transformations begin with a struggle.

Bella Del Medico, Founder and Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, knows this firsthand.

Her journey into nutrition didn't start in a textbook — it started with her own body breaking down. For five years, Bella sat in waiting rooms, left appointments with more questions than answers, and walked out with prescription after prescription — but never a real solution. Doctors repeatedly said “all lab work looks normal.” Despite this, Bella still suffered from debilitating fatigue, irregular and heavy periods, headaches, bloating, loose stools, heart palpitations, and weight gain. Her body was sending signals — but no one was truly listening.

It wasn't until she sought out comprehensive, integrative functional lab testing that the full picture finally came into focus. Lyme disease. Gut health issues. PCOS.

Tired of generic advice that changed nothing, Bella stopped looking for a quick fix and dug deeper.

By rebuilding her lifestyle from the inside out — through intentional nutrition, restorative sleep, mindful movement, and stress management — Bella reclaimed her health, energy, and confidence.

That experience didn't just shape her story. It shaped her entire approach to care.

"I know what it feels like to not recognize yourself in your own body. I also know what it feels like to get it back. That's exactly what I'm here to help you do."

Today, Bella brings that same depth of personal understanding and clinical expertise to every client she works with — because she's not just your ordinary dietitian. She's someone who's been there before.

I bridge the gap between clinical and functional nutrition

Why “Ingredients for Life”?

Just like a recipe, your health is only as good as what goes into it.

Diagram titled "Ingredients for Life" showing four categories: Nutrition, Movement, Stress, Sleep, each with brief advice or tips. Nutritional advice about reading labels and eating anti-inflammatory foods, movement advice about staying strong and active, stress advice about managing and reducing stress, sleep advice about restoring and repairing through quality sleep.

Nutrition. Movement. Stress. Sleep.

These aren't just wellness buzzwords. They are the FOUR INGREDIENTS your body needs to function, heal, and thrive. Even if one is out of balance, the rest begin to suffer — and that's when inflammation creeps in, energy disappears, or chronic symptoms take over. Think about it this way: you wouldn't bake a cake and leave out half the ingredients (nobody’s bringing that to a birthday party). Yet most wellness approaches focus on just one piece of the puzzle — usually food — and wonder why results don't last.

And when it comes to nutrition, we go beyond the basics. We take a deep dive into the actual ingredients inside your food — because what's hiding in that ingredient label matters just as much as what's on your plate. From inflammatory additives to hidden sugars, we help you become a confident, informed eater who knows exactly what they're putting into their body.

You Deserve to Feel Like Yourself Again

Whether you're managing a chronic condition, untangling a complicated relationship with food, or simply ready to stop guessing and start feeling better — Ingredients for Life is here for all of it.

I'll walk alongside you with compassionate, personalized strategies that fit into your real life — not a perfect one.
